OMG

I can't believe I haven't blogged in over a month, that is so slack. So as you can imagine I have a bit to get through so here goes. Firstly are some cards I have done, the first one uses a paper folding technique that I did a tips section on for Click'n'Scrap.

This second one is using the new Alison Ellis Hot set powder and glitters. This is fantastic product and all available from Click'n'Scrap.

This card is using layers and the patterned paper is the new Little Yellow Bicycle Zinnia papers.

This is the card I did for the sketch challenge for June for Click'n'Scrap.

Now we have an entry I did for the Scrapbooking Top 50's 30 weeks to Christmas Competition. This actually won a prize for this one, so yay.

That's it for now, I do have heaps more but I will load those over the weekend.

I can't believe its Sunday

I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend, I certainly did although it once again was not long enough. Well I have been slack the last two weeks and not done any blogging so this one is going to be pretty big.

First up is a layout I did for Click'n'Scrap using the SEI Lovebirds range and an A2ZScraplet covered in glitter. The pitcure is my little boy and me in the hospital, I think it was either 2 or 4 days old. He was such a good baby.

This one is my little boy again in the hospital doing what he does best .... sleep. This was for the Scrapbooing Top 50 Mothers Day Cybercrop Challenge, where you had to use your favourite basic grey range, I chose Wisteria and you could only use up to 10 pieces no more than 4cmx4cm. This product is all from Click'n'Scrap.

These next two layouts of both my boys playing at the waterpark at Movieworld. I used the SEI Black Orchid range, Heidi Swapp Flower, Kaisercraft Bling all available from Click'n'Scrap. They were both for Scrapbooing top 50 Challenges.

This one is of my eldest as a baby but unfortunately I used the wrong name on the tag (oops). This was for Click'n'Scrap using the new Little Sprout collection by Crate Paper.

This is a layout I did for the Scrapbooking Top 50 30 weeks to christmas challenge. I used SEI Lovebirds and a heidi swapp flower for this. The picture is my niece and I on Mothers Day.

This is another entry for the Scrapbooking Top 50 30 weeks to Christmas Challenge. It is of my two boys just after they got their new spikey hair cuts. The frame is A2ZScraplets.

This is another layout for the Scrapbooking Top 50 30 Weeks to Christmas Challenge. The pictures are of my gorgeous son and nephew having a moment on the couch, can you believe this was the second time they had ever seen each other.

I also wanted to toot my own horn and let you all know I won one of the Scrapbooking Top 50 Mothers Day Cybercrop Challenges, for my layout below of my son and I using the white cardstock and the circle of printed embellished with an A2zScraplets "A mothers love".

Happy Mothers Day

Hi All,

I hope everyone had a fantastic mothers day, I certainly did. I got a bit of scrapping done and I also got to spend some time with my family. We had a BBQ lunch up at Maleny with my family which was great, and then did some gardening with my DH and boys. I took lots of photos, how unusual. I also did some scrapping this weekend because my 400+ photos from snapfish arrived.

So first up, is this gorgeous photo of my son and I playing with the camera, which we love to do. I used the gorgeous Basic Grey Wisteria collection and A2z scraplets, once again. All available from Click'n'Scrap, of course.

This is a picture of my two gorgeous boys riding the eldests quad that he got for Christmas. They have so much fun playing together, its beautiful to watch. These papers are just from my personal stash, I think rusty pickle. This is for a comp run by Scrapbooking Top 50 and I had to use aluminium foil, very hard to incorporate. I think I should have spent a little longer on it but I was running out of time.

This is a picture of my eldest and I again playing with the camera at the beach, how can you not love that smile. For this I used my own stash, sorry I have no idea what papers. I did use an A2Zscraplet from Click'n'Scrap for the title though. This is also for a comp run by scrapbooking top 50.

Well thats it for me this weekend, I am setting my goals now for next weekend at 4 layout. I'll see how I go.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jacob

Hi Everyone,

Today is my little boys 2nd birthday so lots of photo moments. Here is a picture of him taken yesterday, very appropriate behind bars.

I finished this layout yesterday using the gorgeous Crate Paper Orbit collection and an A2zscraplet, how unusal. All available from Click'n'Scrap. I didn't want to over embellish because it can take away from that gorgeous smile of my eldest.

Well I have to go as it is party time, so I may be back tonight we'll see how we go. I am still working on my BEyond the Page project, I have had a block.

Cheers

Sunday Morning Scrapping

Hi Everybody,

Hope your weekends are going great, mine is so far. I just thought I would put up what I have done so far this weekend, as I have to go get the groceries now. I am hoping that doesn't take too long so I can come home and do some more scrapping.

So first of all I have 2 cards I have done for mothers day this year. I used the Basic Grey Wisteria collection, available at Click'n'Scrap, plus some glitter and some Kaisercraft pearls.

Then as I said I begged Dee from Click'n'Scrap to let me do my first ever Sketch Challenge and here it is with an example. The prize up for grabs is a Bazzill Basics Idea Book these are great and very hard to come by. My example is using pictures from eldests first ever swim lesson which he loved. The paper I used is the new Basic Grey Lime Rickey available at CLick'n'Scrap. PLus I used a Kaisercraft rhinestone word. This was the first time I have used Rhinestone words and found it difficult to work out the best way to place them on the page, if you have any tips please put them in the comments, theywill be much appreciated.

The final layout so far, is of my youngest, Jacob. He is such a little tanker, and so gorgeous. This was him getting used to riding his trike. The papers I used are the Crate Paper Little Sprout Papers, plus I used some SEI paper lace which i have used on numerous layouts and I still have over half a sheet left, great value. Plus I used some Kaisercraft rhinestones and an A2Zscraplets word.

Thats it so far, I hoping to get an OTP frame done this afternoon but I think I may be pusing my luck. Don't forget to leave comments I really appreciate any tips etc that you have.

Cheers

Thank God its Friday

Hi Everyone,

I don't think there are many people out there who aren't thinking that exact same thing, thank god its friday. So this is just a quick post to say hi and to tell you that I am hoping to get heaps of scrapping done over this long weekend. I am currently participating in the Scrapbooking Top 50 30 weeks to Christmas Challenge, it is awesome. This weeks challenge is to use aluminium foil in your layout. So if you think you can come up with a card or layout etc using foil then have a go and enter the comp, you can enter at anytime during the course of the competition. The prizes are awesome so don''t miss out.

What else do I have on? I am doing some layouts for Click'n'Scrap now that I am on the design team for them. I ordered 414 photos from Snapfish so I really don't think I will have any trouble finding photos. That's how slack I have been over the last 4 years. I was thinking of designing a sketch as well and asking De (owner of Click'n'Scrap) if we can do a Sketch Challenge so keep your eyes peeled for that one. Maybe also a cybercrop. If anyone has any ideas just throw them out there or post them in the CLick'n'Scrap Forum. Don't forget the new layout comp wills start now.

Say hi in the comments and put a link to your blog so I can add it to my favourites.

Cheers and will chat again over the weekend.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

Hi,

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I have only scrapped one page but have taken pics of some layouts I did during the week to upload as well. So first I will start with the one I did yesterday which is for the Scrapbooking Top 50 April Sketch Challenge. It is of my two gorgeous boys having one of their calm and loving moments....there are not very many calm moments with 2 boys. I love this photo because you can see just how much they love each other. For the layout I used the NEW Crate Paper Little Sprout collection available at Click'n'Scrap.

The next 2 layouts are of my second gorgeous boy Jacob when he was 2 days old ..... I know that is pretty slack that I have only just scrapped them almost 2 years later but you can't rush these things. All he did was sleep which was fantastic...but he is definitely making up for all those quiet moments now. The first pic is of him and I on day 2. For this layout I used some clearance Kaisercraft papers from Click'n'Scrap and some basic grey for the background. I cut the papers into 3cmx3cm cubes and inked the edges. Then embellished with a vellum quote and a pink paislee flower and some buttons. The second layout uses the same papers, and buttons with a scrappy cats stamp and BG alpha stickers.

These two layouts are of my youngest again, Jacob, when we were in New Zealand visiting my husbands family. He was definitely the centre of attention as you can see from the photos he was pops boy. For the layouts I used Making Memories Noteworthy papers, once again from Click'n'Scrap, some paper flowers and Kaisercraft pearls. The second layout uses the same papers. I simply used another sheet of scalloped paper and traced around then cut it out. The second layout also uses some Prima papers and some Pink Paislee and SEI embellishments.

These two layouts are of my eldest son, Samuel, when he was learning to walk with his Grumps. I used some of my personal stash for these, I think last season Bo Bunny papers and stickers and brads. But for the embellishing I did some doodling around the stars. This was my first attempt at doodling and I think I did ok. Any tips on doodling add them to my comments.

This page is my youngest, Jacob, playing in the garden in his walker. I love this picture because it shows off his gorgeous smile. I also like the fact that because it is in the garden and pretty it doesn't need to be scrapped using boy themed papers. I love to try and use flowers on my boy pages. For this layout I used Basic Grey Urban Prairie papers and co-ordinating brads from Click'n'Scrap, and the flowers and ribbon are from my personal stash I think Prima Painterly Petals and Making Memories noteworthy ribbons.

Well that is all from me for the weekend ..... I think. I am going to take my boys to the movies now to see Monsters v Aliens. So depending on what time I get back maybe I will be back on tonight.

Cheers and enjoy the rest of your Sunday
